But, now that it's officially over (at least from a school perspective), I have two questions:
1. On what day (after school) do we want to meet each week for chess club? I can do it any day. You can send me an e-mail with your preferences, or vote on the sidebar on the left. You can vote for multiple days, if (for instance) you like any day except Tuesday.
2. Do you want to play in the CYO Chess League? Teams of four club members will play against other schools on Wednesdays starting October 15th (there are three games, and a postseason tournament on a Saturday). The cost for this is $25, and the deadline to tell me is Monday, September 15th. You don't have to come to the weekly club meetings in order to play in the league, and vice versa!
Finally, some format changes:
1. Kindergarten and First Graders need to be accompanied by a guardian
2. Chess Club will end at 4pm for children in grades K-5, and at 5pm for 6-8th graders
3. Costs for OLL Students: $2 per meeting, or $20 per semester (in advance)
4. Costs for non-OLL Students: $3 per meeting, or $30 per semester (in advance)
5. You will need a club T-Shirt, which is $10 (we'll order these later, for those who need them)
